AN EVENING OF IMAGINATIVE, PROVOCATIVE AND HILARIOUS SATIRE
Max Stafford-Clark directs dazzling short plays by celebrated playwrights: Alistair Beaton and Stella Feehily imagine the scheming inside our major parties, David Hare explores the cult of the free market, Caryl Churchill imagines a world where even language is privatised and Mark Ravenhill weighs the cost of our military adventures.
The cast includes Ann Mitchell (Eastenders' Cora Cross; Widows), Bruce Alexander (A Touch of Frost); Steve John Shepherd (Michael Moon in Eastenders, This Life), Jane Wymark (Midsomer Murders) and in the opening weeks, Sarah Alexander (Smack The Pony, Green Wing, Coupling). There's even original music written by Billy Bragg.
This is politics as only theatre can do it: inventive, irreverent and entertaining. Survey the political landscape from the best "safe seat" in town!
