Tickets to Penelope Lively – The Garden in Literature (part of Write On Kew Festival) on Sunday 27th September at Kew Gardens

Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew will be hosting London's newest literary festival, spanning five days from Thursday 24 to Monday 28 September 2015. Write on Kew will foster an atmosphere filled with inspiring conversations with a selected line-up of well-versed writers amid the beauty, science and wonder of Kew Gardens.

In celebration of Kew’s literary festival debut, we have 2 pairs of tickets for you to see Penelope Lively, author of The Garden in Literature. Try your luck at winning tickets to hear the Booker Prize-winning novelist discuss how various writers have responded to gardens and gardening, from Beatrix Potter’s town and country mice, to Philip Larkin’s lawnmower.

If you’re a book connoisseur, join like-minded souls alongside some of the greatest authors around. Catering to a plethora of literary tastes, from renowned historian Peter Snow — who will be recounting one of the world's most famous and important battles of the age, the story of Napoleon’s Hundred Days — to the much-loved actor Richard. E Grant, who will be discussing his republished novel With Nails, spotlighting some of the mad, brilliant people in the film business. With the added opportunity to wander and enjoy the Gardens with your Write on Kew admission, this is an unmissable event for the avid book-lover.
