The Importance of Being Earnest at the Vaudeville Theatre

Don’t miss Oscar Wilde’s much loved masterpiece The Importance of Being Earnest, which comes to the Vaudeville Theatre, London for a strictly limited season from 24 June 2015.

Directed by Adrian Noble, Wilde’s superb satire on Victorian manners is one of the funniest plays in the English language – the delightful repartee and hilarious piercing of hypocrisy and pomposity can still make you laugh out loud.

This brand new production stars the award-winning David Suchet as you’ve never seen him before – as the formidable Lady Bracknell! Suchet is best known for Agatha Christie’s Poirot but his many credits also include stints at The Royal Shakespeare Company and Chichester Festival Theatre.
